NFL Fantasy Football Playoffs

The NFL Fantasy Football playoffs started with players like Cooper Kupp & Derrick Henry letting fantasy owners down, and players like Jameis Winston and Kirk Cousins giving others false hopes. Those managers that had no choice but to hit the waiver wire as nearly 75% of teams have been eliminated from title contention are finding themselves looking for diamonds in the rough to win their leagues cash pots, trophies, and in my league's case the 210 Bandit Championship Belt!

Since I did not get the chance to participate in the playoffs this year, I have been given a little more time to do other things like write this article and help "will" these players to amazing fantasy performances to help your teams bring home a title or give you a reason to beware of players who just might cost you a shot at winning it all if you decide to start them.

Player #5

Patrick Mahomes, please stop confusing efforts and results! Also, remember that past results do not guarantee future successes. Many people are afraid to say it, but I'll just throw it out there. Patrick Mahomes could easily be considered the #1 fantasy disappointment in football for 2024! I know that is tough to say about the NFL's BEST Quarterback, but let's be honest. CMC was a huge disappointment, but he was hurt and Mahomes has been pretty "mid" (I think that's what my kids say now) this season. While I admire his grit and him attempting to push through a high ankle sprain, DO NOT start Patrick Mahomes this weekend if you want to win your league championship.

Player #4

Brock Purdy, I was pulling for Purdy to pull off a great season so that he too can get the bag at the end of the season, but Brock is not playing like the Brock America fell in love with. Facing a Dolphins team that is has been very stingy against opposing quarterbacks this season, the Dolphins have only had one quarterback have a finish that noting this season and that was Josh Allen. The Dolphins rank in the top 10 in multiple categories defensively and Brock is in for a long day.

Player #3

Bucky Irving,
As a LIFE LONG Dallas Cowboys Fan, this pains me to write. However, Bucky Irving has to be salivating at his opportunity this weekend against the Cowboys. Not only should you expect Irving to get into the endzone, you should expect him to be the least favorite "Bucky" in the sate. While Buc-ee's is a well known for being a truck stop/gas station/convenient store on steroids across Texas and now the South, the Bucky the Cowboys are facing this weekend has had a successful rookie campaign and should have success against an even improved Cowboys defense.
